No power
Eero wireless access points may fail to power on when using Alta Labs POE switches. This appears to be due to some non-standard POE requirements implemented by Eero.
To resolve this, please ensure that the POE update has been applied to your switches.
- Navigate to the Network tab
- Click the icon for the affected switch
- Switch to the Settings tab in the configuration card
- Apply the POE update under the Advanced section
This may take up to 20 minutes to complete, so please be patient. Once finished, your Eero WAPs should power on as expected. If you still experience issues, please reach out to support@alta.inc or use the contact button in the right-hand sidebar of this page.
