How to Reserve DHCP by MAC

It is possible to reserve DHCP leases for client devices with your Route10. Starting from the main dashboard at https://manage.alta.inc, visit the Devices table as seen below.

Easy way

Devices may be found in the Devices table when they are connected to the network. Click the settings cog under that device’s Name column. In the new panel, you can configure the client’s details.

Manual way

Above the top-right corner of the Devices table you will find an Options menu. Scroll to the bottom of this menu and select Add (Wireless) or Add (Wired) according to the type of client you want to define.

Bulk Add

The bulk add buttons enable you to add arbitrary devices by MAC as a list.

The format for wireless devices is MAC,Name,IP address,VLAN,Network Type. Wired devices need only MAC,Name,IP address.
