Does your AP feel hot to the touch? Have no fear, Alta Labs has done continuous and in depth testing to ensure our APs are functional and long lasting while reaching some higher temps. 

The APs can run a little hot but we have made sure everything is within thermal safety specifications. Depending on location, load, air flow, and some other factors, APs may read anywhere between 40°C (104°F) to 60°C (140°F). You may experience some degraded performance over time with higher temperatures. Even though your AP is a little hot, it is performing as intended. All temperatures, inside and outside of the AP, are well within safety specifications. If you notice temperatures higher than 40-60°C (104°F-140°F), please contact Tech Support.
