One of the unique features of Alta Labs access points is the ability to apply configuration changes in real-time. 

No reboot or soft-restart is required to apply configuration changes. This allows the network operator to apply changes to many devices without disrupting current users' connectivity or uptime. 

There will be settings that require users to enter the new SSID or the new password but do not disrupt the network as a whole.
