Create your Alta Labs management account

Visit https://manage.alta.inc/ or use the mobile app to register your account.

Connect the access point to your network

Ensure that your network has a DHCP server enabled for the access point to communicate with the internet. Power the device with a PoE+ switch or adapter. The front LED will turn solid white when the AP is fully booted, ready to be set up (typically <= 1 minute from applying power).

Setup the device

The device will automatically connect to https://manage.alta.inc and enable you to provision it from the management platform. Ensure you are logged into your account, and that you are connected to the same internet connection as your new access point. After a few moments, the device will appear under the "Network" tab with a Setup button. Click Setup and the device will then be managed and provisioned as you make changes within the app or web dashboard.

NOTE: It may be possible that the Setup button is hidden in the row, and requires that you scroll the table to the right in order to find the correct column.

If your network uses multiple public IPs, or you're using a VPN, you may need to use our mobile app Bluetooth provisioning. The device and your personal device being used for provisioning must be using the same public IP.

Add an SSID

Navigate to Settings -> WiFi and click the Add New button. Configure the details of your SSID here, and click save at the bottom of the page. All of your access points will be provisioned with the configured SSID automatically as long as they are setup on the associated site.
