The setup of Alta devices is intended to be as easy and intuitive as possible, with little user configuration. 

Getting your devices online

• Step 1: Create your Alta Labs management account
• Step 2: Connect the AP device to your network
• Step 3: Verify the device is assigned to your management account

Step 1: Create your Alta Labs management account

• https://manage.alta.inc/

Step 2: Connect the AP device to your network

• Using a 48V PoE adapter (PoE+ preferred), connect your device to your network
• Ensure you have DHCP enabled on this network
• Verify the device is powered on indicated by the LED on the device

Step 3: Verify the device is assigned to your management account

• The device will connect to our secure cloud platform, and automatically connect to https://manage.alta.inc
  Please ensure you are logged in to your management account on the same network as the device.
• After a few moments, the device will appear under the "Network" tab:
  
• Continue with configuration!

Note: If your network uses multiple public IPs, or you're using a VPN, you may need to use our mobile app Bluetooth provisioning. The device and your personal device being used for provisioning must be using the same public IP.
